$1 Summer Movies

All summer long, your local Regal movie theatre has children movies
on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m.
for just $1. (last year it was free. oh well. can't complain.)
Check here to see where the nearest theatre is
and to see what's playing!
We really need to do this. Maybe next week.

Love them.
Aren't they cute?!
I am so grateful for this man and for all he does to help out.

Have you embraced?

Dream home = found

Can I just tell you that I've found my dream home?
Love. it.
It's absolutely me.
I'm sure if we added a wrap around porch,
then the hubster would be in (that's his only requirement - - he's easy).

This home is in Utah, but the owners had visited the Hamptons
and wanted their home to have a Hampton feel and Hawaii feel.
Beautiful.
Just beautiful.
I love how there's a color theme throughout the entire house.
Bright, pretty colors.
It was featured on House of Turquoise (love that blog).
You can see more pictures here, here, here, here and here.

What's your dream home?

craft: 10 minute Father's Day gift

Here's a really easy Father's Day gift that your little ones will love to make with you.

Supplies:

- bottle of Root Beer {bought at Target in a six pack for $2.84 - the hubby's been trying to drink them all week long}
- cupcake liner {any color}
- ribbon {I used brown but really wanted to use a navy blue, but going to the craft store, last minute, with two little girls in tow, didn't seem very appealing to me}
- white and blue cardstock

1. Place ribbon around neck of Root Beer and cross. Where it crosses you want to glue with a glue gun.
2. Take the cupcake liner and scrunch it in the middle and then flatten it.
3. I was in the process of making a printable for the writing {world's best POP}, but for some reason, our printer's not working . . . so handwritten it is on white cardstock.
4. The white, circular cardstock glued to dk. blue, circular cardstock - slightly larger. Then glued to middle of flattened cupcake liner.
5. Glue cupcake liner to ribbon {where it crosses}
and you're finished!

He's definitely gonna love this!

I'll be posting to the linking parties here.

Free: Lemonade Stand Printables

When I was a child, we'd always have
lemonade stands during the summer.
We'd go to our neighbors' home and
pick their lemons {with permission of course}
and then make some delicious lemonade.
With all our earnings, we'd then walk to 7-Eleven
and spend it on overpriced candy and slurpees.
Well, Ava's a little too young to be doing this right now
but maybe next year {when I don't worry that she'll run
into the street 50 million times}.
made. And they're free! Check them out here. Definitely
next year.
{By the way, check out her blog and follow her! She has some amazing party ideas.}

"What I'm Loving" Wednesday

So we finally started Reese on solids.
Which means it's time to get this book out
and start making baby food.
I was given this book before I had little Ava and
absolutely loved it!
It teaches you everything you need to know
about introducing solids to your little one.
Types of foods, when to introduce them,
how to make them, great recipes, etc.
I love this book! So, check it out!
You can also go here to learn more about it.

And that's what I'm loving today.

Writer's Block.

Hello blogging friends! It's been awhile.
Sorry. I really didn't mean
to be gone for almost 2 weeks! I
think I had writer's block.

The hubby finally finished classes,
we celebrated our 5 year anniversary,
started little Reese on solids and it looks
like she's gonna start crawling any
day now. Totally not ready for that!
And big sis Ava is always helping
{sometimes a little too helpful}
and always loving anything that
involves water, food, friends, and toys!
So keep on checking back. And, like always,
thank you for following!
