:: New Year - goals and a free printable

About a week ago, we were finally able to write down our goals for the new year.
A terrible cold that came my way, got into the way of anything and everything.
But we wrote them down even if some were in their princess dresses.

Last year I found a printable where we could write about our past year and our goals for the upcoming year, but for some odd reason, I didn't pin it!
One for children and one for adults.
So, I just made my own for my kids.
The link can be found here.

I love that little Ava is finally able to write her own.
Her goals are pretty cute.
"Learn how to sew" and her biggest goal was "to be obedient".  Ha!
She'll thank me later . . . I'm sure of it.

:: Valentine's Day free printable

So I haven't offered a free printable in awhile.
I need to start creating more.
I just wish I had more time . . .

Anyway, I designed this last February for an online class I was taking.
I found this quote by St. Augustine and loved it.
So, go here to download this print.
Would be a beautiful addition to your Valentine's Day decor!

:: New Year's Goals

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!
My Christmas is finally put away (sniff, sniff) and the house
is looking back to normal.

The other night, we had a Family Home Evening about goals.
While explaining to my 4 year old what a goal is, I realized that
I have many to work on this year.
We each filled out our goals and will be keeping it in a family binder.
At the beginning of each month we'll go through each of
our goals to see how we're doing.
Hopefully this will help us be accountable for the goals we actually made
at the beginning of the year.
(cause I usually forget about my goals by the end of January)

I came across this free printable from Kiki and Company and I absolutely love it!
You write your goal on the top and because they say that it takes 21 days to form a habit,
every day when you finish that goal, just cut off the bottom number.
Genius!
Go here to print these out.

:: Halloween - free printable card

Last year, I was inspired by The Busy Budgeting Mama and created this pop-up Halloween card for the girl's grandparents.

They all loved them.
So, I think it might be a yearly tradition.
This year I made it slightly different but with the same wording.
And I also made one for you to give out to your loved ones.
Print it out, cut out the pics, put it on a stick, and mail it!
So easy!

You can go here to print it off.

And I wish I could show you the pictures of the ones we made this year,
but my computer isn't working right now (uploading photos).
So, maybe next week.
Also, thanks to Sprik Space for the free design.

Have a great weekend!
We have a trunk or treat we'll be going to
and hopefully after, we'll carve our pumpkins!

:: Crafts - end of school year treats

It was Ava's last day of preschool today.
They had a little program that the parents were able to watch.
Talk about adorable.

I found this cute "end of school year" bag topper
And thank goodness we have a WinCo near us.
That's where we bought the yummy candy (for cheap).
We gave them to each of her classmates.
So, go here to print these free printables!

Oh, and guess what Ava wants to be when she grows up?

A ballerina and a dentist.
{I guess the visit to the dentist's office wasn't a complete failure.}
Although, when I ask her, she always seems to say "a ballerina, a dentist, and a nurse."
Look at my little multi-tasker!
