1 Year Blogoversary

I might be the only one that realizes this (or cares), but last week this blog had it's 1 year blogoversary! Crazy that I actually have people "following" me. Love my blogging friends and the sweet comments they always leave me. They really do make my day.

One reason I started this blog was so that I would actually finish my projects. That way, I'm held accountable to all of you. Or that's what I think anyway. I love creating and love the ideas that other bloggers have given me.

I went to Nursing school and became an RN in 2004. I love it. But through this blog, I've learned that I'm not only a wife, mom, and RN, but I'm also an (ameatur) seamstress, (ameatur) interior decorator, (ameatur) photographer, thrift store addict, and the list could go on and on. Loving it! And thank you to all that continue to read this blog!

My favorite before and after . . . well, it's a tie between the family room and the baby nursery. Although, I do need to post pictures soon of the kitchen that we repainted. I love it!

My favorite thrift store find is this gorgeous mirror that I found for $15.

And things that I still need to work on?

1. the coffee table that we started on in March

2. finishing the kitchen (place the pulls on the drawers, a few light fixtures, beadboard underneath the bar counter area, etc.)

3. making slipcovers for our wingback chairs
