Ava found a yellow minky blanket that I'd bought years ago and that was waiting in my gift stash. She took it out and said that it was her little sister's blankee (countdown: 8 weeks left). She would play with it and even put it on my belly. She wanted to make sure her little sister was warm. She's going to be a great big sister.
I told her that maybe she could give it to her little sister on her birthday. She seemed pretty excited about it. So we folded it, tied some fabric scraps around it that I'd sewn together, and we're done. All ready to go.
