Months ago when I first discovered Pinterest (oh what an amazing day that was),
one of my first pins was this one here.
Loved it and knew I would try it once we put our tree up.
Although, mine isn't as awesome as hers cause my camera's
highest iso setting is 1600 [insert screaming here].
To recreate this look,
grab your camera and turn to manual mode,
bump the iso up (way up),
and shutter speed down to 1/30th range (focusing on tree),
and make sure you place the camera on a tripod or if you don't have one
then a couch or chair will do.
And you'll get a look like this SOOC (no editing involved).
It was hard to keep Reese still in this one, but a miracle happend.
Canon Rebel Xsi
ISO 1600
f/1.8
SS 1/30th

ReplyDeleteA Christmas miracle!! LOL that's exactly what I said when my son stood still long enough for me to snap that picture of him last year! My party has been going on for a week now and guess what? I still haven't linked up my OWN photos yet because I can't get my son to stand still again! He's onto me and my sneaky ways. :/ But, your pictures are perfection. Thank you so much for sharing them at the link party. And yes, I'm totally addicted to pinterest, too. :)
